XAMPP Error: MySQL shutdown unexpectedly

 

 
  1. go to exam and mysql folder 
  2. in to mysql folder we can see a data folder it's rename by old-data
  3. now you create a new folder  in mysql folder the name will be data and it will be empty first time
  4. now go to the backup folder and copy all files without ibdata1
  5. and again back mysql folder go in to the data folder which created you and paste all files which copy from backup folder's
  6. and again back mysql folder go to the old-data folder which renamed you and copy your all projects folder without mysql, performance_schema, phpmyadmin, test folder carfully copy ibdata1 file. no need to copy all extra files.
  7. now again back mysql folder go to the data folder which created you and paste all files which copy from old-data folder's
  8. Now close xampp and again start your xampp
